I am sick of being awake at this time due to others' selfishness.

Just because they want to listen to deafening 'music', shout and scream drunkenly, stay awake all night and party, it suddenly means that everyone else must want to too. Ok, I'm probably in the minority (LOL - I know I'm in the minority) but for God's sake have some respect, people. It's not hard.

Back at uni. Back online. Bored out of my mind having to redo the same stuff as last year.

Currently awake at random o' clock cos a) some random girls are talking outside my room and clattering around in the kitchen and b) the hall next door always seem to have parties on their balconies til 4am. I have to be up at 7, why the hell can't they let other people sleep? Just cos they're drunk and rowdy and stuff they don't need to make everyone suffer because of it. I've only been back here 3 nights and it's been like this every single time. It makes my last hall sound silent compared to this. Seriously.

I am currently being subjected to the delightful sounds of a load of drunk guys "singing" outside (it's pretty loud to get through my closed windows and the 100 metres or so to the next hall. Jeeeeez.) and also Mr DJ who lives in the room below me who is currently playing some bangin choons like. Not fun. Not pretty. All my friends are in the year above me or have dropped out. I hate the 1st years and I hate uni in general. I really hate uni. This year is gonna suck so much.

If tonight is bad, tomorrow night is going to be a total nightmare. Tonight was some quiet night down the bar but tomorrow is ye traditional Big Wednesday with massive fancy dress yadda til 1am. *sigh* I gotta be up early the following morning aswell.

I hate uni. Seriously.

Well tomorrow I'm going back to uni, but I'm repeating the first year again. This time I'm gonna do my major module in web production rather than radio... However it wasn't the radio aspect that I failed last year, it was all the rest. Anyway. Hopefully my knowing a bit about web will come in useful so that I don't have to do too much work learning stuff for that, so I can concentrate on learning my media work. Really must get to the library before everyone else to get the books. Must also read them this year. Yes. Must.

Slightly concerned about arriving last in my new hall this year. I booked my place in the hall last year so it was assumed I'd be in the 2nd year... and as 2nd years generally don't go into halls (I'm an exception cos I live miiiiiiiiiiles from my uni) I got put in a 3rd year hall. 2nd and 3rd years arrived today, and 1st years tomorrow. Don't want to be last to arrive cos my parents always manage to be amazingly embarrassing. Also, if it was my old hall where I knew everyone it'd be fine... but I know nobody in this one except maybe Claire but I don't know if she's still gonna live next door to me as we planned last year... Bleh. Gonna have to wait and see I guess.

In other news, a cat seems to have adopted my parents' house as its own. My parents don't like having it around the house but since our own kitty died over 5 years ago it's been sorta... a welcome return... It's not a stray cos it seems to be well fed and looked after... but still it seems to think our home is also his. Or hers. Not quite sure. Eeee, I luveth cats, I do. ^_^

Lol speak of the devil... here it is... Seems to like our PC chair, has just obliged me to move onto the floor with my comp. Grrr. Even so, I'll miss it when I go tomorrow. *Huggles kitty* Aaaanyway. Back to packing methinks.

[EDIT] I don't know what the arrangements are for my internet this year, but as far as I know I have to pay extra for it and also my uni account's been disabled due to my failing of last year. I'll see what I can do to get back online, but yeah, if you email me or something then you won't get a reply til I get it sorted. Stupid STUPID uni admins. [/EDIT]
