Does this site frequently stop working for you? A select number of ISPs seem to have got stuck when the server move took place for this site and others on the same server. If you find that it times out, doesn't load, etc. please do the following (on Windows - if you're on a Mac or using Linux, please refer to the appropriate documentation for clearing your DNS resolver cache):
- Go to Start and click on Run.
- Type
ipconfig /flushdns - Try visiting the site again
(For Windows 95/98 or Me, you may need to replace ipconfig by winipcfg. Either that or the DNS flush may not work at all in those operating systems)
If that doesn't fix the problem, please contact me for further information. I, my hosts, and the server datacenter are all stumped as to what is causing this problem. All the nameservers and necessary IPs were copied over from the old server, but for some reason some ISPs are still routing those IPs to the old server and thus getting nowhere.
Edit: Know someone who can't access this site/a site on this server? Tell them to use this address (the styles won't work and neither will the navigation, but this post will be there at least). Never mind, that won't work any more. Tell them to use a proxy. Proxies work fine!
