I figured I should probably write something since my last post was over 3 weeks ago...
Uni is back in session, got a lecture in 40 minutes in fact. Really would prefer to sleep though :( Don't really fancy spending two hours in some lecture doing a presentation on a subject I don't understand.
Anyway. It's been a year since I made this post, but the same still applies. I'm currently active in 3 forums, having been banned from one (not my fault) and having lost interest in another. I need me some new forums to join! I'm especially interested in coding forums, such as the CodeGrrl ones (though I'm already a member there, so don't suggest that) - general "chatty" forums don't seem to keep me that interested at the moment. I was thinking about the lissaexplains.com forums, but wading through the OMG HOW DO I MAK TRANZPARANT IFRAMEZ posts will probably see me wanting to stab my eyes out with a fork. Ew.
So yeah, all suggestions will be considered if you have any to make. :)
Got to go to uni now. Ooooh.

Lol, I'm always joining and then never returing to forums. It's hard for me to get interested, especially in a community that's already been established.
I had/have a forum, but it's quite specific—to my fansite—people join, but no one posts. It's ok though because now that I'm changing hosts, I'm pretty much taking my site down for at least a couple months.

The only forums I've ever been active in is Codegrrl and the old Novaboard forum. I visit Lissa's forum every now and then to give support for one of my scripts, but other than that, it never really held my attention. Seems to be a lot of kiddies and HTML newbies there.Whereas I think the Codegrrl community is a bit more advanced.
I don't know of any other popular script based forums. I would also be interested in hearing some suggestions.

The main forum I'm really active at is fu.CK, and even though I love it, I personally don't really see it as being the type of thing you're into.
I don't have any coding-related forums to suggest, but maybe you'd like The Martini Lounge or SNOG!? I'm not personally a member of either but I've heard good things about both of them. Also, though I know you're not too into Fanlistings, maybe join the TFL boards? :P

I'm already a member of SNOG!, but I don't know - recently it's been boring me a little so I haven't been going there much. As for the Martini Lounge, I've considered it, but it's a little bit too chatty. And fu.CK - you're right, I don't think it's the kind of thing I'd like. I did join once upon a time, but I never posted because I felt a bit intimidated. That and again, it's a chatty forum... I get bored of those very easily. :(

Well it's not super busy, but there is a cool movie forum here: http://mf.chaosworks.org/ I like it because you can talk about any movies you like and there is a special tag for spoilers so nobody gets...spoiled. lol ;)

I want more coding forums too as the "chatty" forums bore me. I'm a member of some musician forums though and have a forum of my own but they are so damn addicting.
