Why is it that whenever it starts getting warm and nice outside, that I get stupid colds that mean I feel ill and unmotivated and generally useless? Such is the case right now. About a week ago, the weather really cleared up here, and it's been nice and warm ever since. So yesterday, I take advantage of lovely sunny weather to walk to the shops and get some food. First time I've been off campus without coat/scarf/gloves since... well, this time last year I suppose.
Was really hot out, and if it wasn't for the fact that I was carrying 3 heavy bags, I'd have taken off my hoodie thingy aswell.
...Get back in, put away my stuff... what happens? That's right, tell-tale stinging sensation in the nose. Bah.
24 hours on, and it's a fully fledged cold which won't let me go anywhere without a bunch of tissues.
Trust this to happen over bank holiday weekend, I wanted 4 days (I get Fridays off anyway) of nice summer-type stuff. Blah.
In other news... I downloaded a ton of extensions for Firefox. Wheee! Yay for useless icons at the bottom of my screen telling me the weather in remote parts of the world... And yay for other things that decorate my FF chrome! Easily pleased. Yep.
I don't know what to do with this site. Part of me wants to completely revamp it and get rid of all the stuff from nsnet, but at the same time the other half of me wants to keep it the way it is because otherwise I'll have to think up new content or it'll just be a hardly-ever-updated blog. Which I don't know if I want... or do I? I found my old blog site and my LJ a lot easier to update than this place. Here it's like I have to write an essay if I want to post something. There I just post a couple of sentences and that's it.
I have coursework to do. I have a mock exam on Tuesday (yeah right, like I'm gonna go to that when 1. I have 3 other essays to do, and 2. my lecturer had a go at me last week... only joking, must go or I can't sit the exam *cough*what a shame*cough*). I must get to bed, even though I spent most of the day in there already. Stupid cold. *Flails*
