Edit: Hmmm. This entry seems to be causing problems and simply not appearing. Apparently some over-sensitive people found it way too much information as well so it's probably better it's changed.
Suffice it to say that I appear to have yet more bugs going round my house.
"Ewww Amelie, you should wash more" ... er, no actually. These bugs are drawn to warmth and carbon dioxide and live in the walls. I couldn't clean my house/self any more if I tried, I'm a serious clean freak which is why having these things around my house is seriously annoying me.
Blah :(

You need to get a few spiders and allow them to divide and conquer - err, capture and eat - all the other bugs :D

^ I posted some big long entry detailing my bug woes and for some reason it just stopped showing up. I didn't change anything - it was still in the database but was coming up blank. It refused to show up until I deleted the whole thing and posted something else in its place.
Very odd...

I actually thought it was supposed to be a blank entry and an empty joke!
Why don't you get some of those pests removal people in?

I have, but they can't come until next week due to being busy. :(

Yes. Over-sensitive.. it couldn't possibly be because I was trying to look out for you now, could it? :P

Jeez, sarcasm is ruined by typos. :(

^ No it isn't - I fixed it ;)
As for looking out, meh... I don't really care if people took it the wrong way or not... Regardless, it seems my server/host/CMS/whatever agrees with you and censored the entry until I got rid of it and posted another in its place. :| Odd.

I read the first entry through my feed reader. Nothing wrong with a bed bug (I think that was the issue? Or maybe not, I can't remember!) problem. We had mice in our shed and I blogged about it even though I thought everybody would deem my family as scummy. :P

Oh, you had bed bugs? My parents recently had that problem back in the beginning for July. We think it had to do with their luggage; The previous week they were in Houston on vacation. When they were unpacking they had the suitcases on the bed.
Shortly after that they started to wake up to really bad bites all over. My dad initially though some spider quite liked his blood or something. Then my mom looked more into it and found that it may have been bed bugs.
Needless to say despite the fact that their room was upstairs, and my room was downstairs with the door permanently closed I still vacuumed my room and washed everything :3
I can't fathom sleeping with bugs around me. Bed bugs or not. I know it happens most likely, but meh. I just really got bugged (heh) out when I've got ants in my room. Especially the flying kind. I spray all sorts of shit in my room. It's a wonder my brain still functions and processes data! :3

You're kidding, right? What the hell was wrong with that entry? It was only bed bugs for Christ's sake. Gross, but not illegal/offensive.

What are bed bugs? Like fleas? We used to get them as well. It was in this particularly hot year where they seemed to have become widespread throughout the country. After that year we got none but we had to throw a lot of flea-bombs around.

Bed bugs aren't like fleas, they're a lot bigger and they feed off humans, not animals. They come out at night and bite and they hide in walls, beds, mattresses, anything that's nice and close to food but where they can't be seen or disturbed. Grrr

@Vixx: the entry was "eaten", it didn't really have anything to do with censorship. (Amelie exaggerates.)
Amelie

Yes, I should probably clarify - I meant that it had been "censored" in that someone/something obviously thought the entry shouldn't be displayed so it ate it. :P Can't work out what was going on, it displayed fine for about 2 hours then a hidden PHP error occurred and the entry refused to come back :| I changed nothing within that time. Oh well, not that it matters anyway :P

Stupid internet sooo doesn't permit for sarcasm and exaggeration. :)

Oh Bugs. Wait - I thought "bed bugs" appear only in "...don't let the bed-bugs bite"?? And now they really DO exist?
Oh my, it's like the time when i though the "great white shark" only exists in the movie "Jaws"... and not on earth :(
:P
