Remember this post, in which I said I'd found the best mouse in the world? I got that mouse shortly after posting about it, and then a few months later, dropped and broke it. It still worked, so I just stuck it back together again with some sticky tape. This was all well and good for two years - a couple of times it would do weird things due to its broken-ness, but up until Monday it was fine. On Monday, it started to phase out a bit. Weird. On Tuesday I got messages everywhere saying "The USB device has malfunctioned"... but a quick disconnect/reconnect fixed that. Yesterday the connection from the wire to the actual mouse was screwing up. Move the wire, mouse went out. Move it back again, mouse fine. This all started on Monday when I untangled the cable... I tried tangling it back up but that didn't help. Anyway, yesterday evening things were getting worse so I decided to buy a new mouse (the same model). Good thing too, today the mouse died completely. :( Waaaaah. New one's due tomorrow and I hope it gets here soon - using this touchpad isn't very convenient. :\
Now then, everyone go and visit Katy because she has a new site layout and everything and she needs friends hits. :P
Edit on 13/5/06: Hurrah! New mouse is here. A day later than planned, but here all the same. It's a lot quicker and more click-happy than my old one... I keep clicking things I don't mean to and missing things I do mean to click on... Also got our new fridge/freezer today. Landlord came round last week and we told him our present 10+ year old one was leaking (quite badly...), so he got us a new one. :D Yay! We do have to wait about 6 hours before we can put anything in it, but they offered to keep some of our frozen stuff for us until then so hopefully nothing will go off. *Crosses fingers*

A repeat note about the article header cutting into the date stamp - if I enlarge the text to the point of separating them, the 'home' tab moves under the 'domain' tab. (But perhaps you want it overlaid?) Also, number '4" is in the graphic (Same on all my (9) browsers.)
I like my Mighty Mouse with the sideways scroll...

The article header is supposed to cut into the date a little, but in Opera it cuts in way too much so I might have to fiddle around with that a bit. As for the number in the graphic... That's not happening for me in all the browsers I tried it on. I'm not sure what could be causing that, especially as it's apparently not happening for any of the other numbers. :\ I'll have a play with it later on. Thanks for re-commenting - I was hacked yesterday and accidentally deleted this database instead of the one I wanted. I restored a backup but of course recent comments weren't part of it.

Ah, been refreshing all my secondary browsers and I think the number 4 thing is a Webkit browser bug + Opera 9b is putting all the numbers in the gravatars! Mozilla OK. (Off to back-up my databases!)

I can't get onto Katy's website for some reason, and I never have either. Bizarre.
I broke my cordless mouse which was quite expensive. It went whizzing all around the screen and I ended up having about 100 programs running. Oops.
