...are so two-faced.
I just spent most of the night reading a forum that totally and utterly disgusted me. Not because of the subject (well, mostly), or the person who runs it... but because of ONE particular individual (who shall remain nameless) who I have always respected and admired, comes out and says something completely shallow and unfounded about somebody else, thus sparking off a whole debate about how much this person sucks and that their site is just an attention-seeking piece of crap yadda yadda yadda. Now... this person is really nice to that other person's face (or site, as the case may be here), but then she goes on a forum and blasts the hell out of this other person's site, saying it's useless and stupid and OMG XYZ COPIED MY LAYOUT OMGWTFOMGZZZZ1!11 Fine, if that's their opinion, so be it; but plastering it all over the net is just a waste of server space and bandwidth.
I have had my fair share of internet drama. I must just say to those who believe they are better than others - do not visit a site that you don't like. It's that simple.
And 'spying' on the site because all your little friends got banned is stupid and immature. What is the point of reporting everything that's going on, for you all to disect bit by bit, always resulting in the same conclusion? You know you're right (or you may think so, whatever) so move on. Continuously going on and on and ON about it just makes the subject of your drama laugh. Well it did when I was the subject, anyway.
Do you seriously have nothing better to do with your time? When I was 16, I got flamed by 20+ year olds who were saying I was stupid and spent all my time on the net making teenybopper layouts and only squeaking about my friends and OMG HE LOOKED AT ME!!!!!1111 type blog posts. As far as I recall, I never did that (the archives are still up...) but obviously those girls (and boys, but mostly girls) had some free time and wanted something/someone to bitch about. What do these people think they're going to achieve? That I'm going to close my site? "Oh no mummy someone said my site's bad!!!!!! Waaaaah!!!" *rolls eyes* If I closed my site, they'd all get bored and find someone else to flame. URGH. At 16 I felt like I was a LOT older than those supposed 'adults', and whilst I may be more or less the same age as them now, I feel like I've entered into early-teenage-girl-squabble hell.
There are two words that I would like to say to flamers/haters/two faced people in general.
GROW UP.
