STOP CALLING ME.

I've blogged about how much I hate cold callers before, but this one is really taking it too far.

My phone provider calls EVERY DAY. Technically this is not considered cold calling since we have their services or whatever, but they keep asking for my landlords when I have told them numerous times that they cannot be found here. They won't talk to me personally because I don't own the line, so WHY won't they take a note of the fact that I CAN'T DO ANYTHING FOR THEM? I have told them how to contact my landlords. I have told them that the property is rented out and the line with it. Do they listen? Of course not.

The stupid thing is, I can't change the phone provider because of the renting situation thing (normally the phone is connected by the person renting, not the landlord, however because of 3875928375928735982735 problems occurring when I tried to do it, landlord had to) nor can I do anything about them calling me twice a day every single day (and no, I don't answer any more. If the person really wants to contact me, they'll leave a message). ARGH.

...and ARGH #2: I've just found out that I completely misread one of my university assignments. Instead of the deadline being at the end of next week like I thought, it's actually on Wednesday morning. That's in a day and a half. I haven't started yet and this is a complete project that needs to be done. GAH!

Omg that sucks about your assignment. So stop blogging and snarking on snark and get working! :D

I hate that about companies who ring you up, you tell them something and they NEVER take note about it and swear you never told them that when they next ring. grrr!

You are not alone, I have misread assignment dates too. But usually it's the teachers fault for putting two different dates on the assignment sheet. o_O

I've never seen anyone use the term "cold callers" before you. Of course, I do believe I've a hunch as to what you're talking about. Where does the term come from exactly?

Hope you did well on that paper of yours!

I'm not sure where the term comes from, but it's a common term used in the UK to mean people calling out of the blue to sell you stuff. Telemarketing, in other words.

Ew BLAH about stupid phone calls! Did you tell them specifically to stop calling you? I would be like "I've told you many times how to contact my landlord, PLEASE do not call me anymore, I can't help you!!" And then slam the phone down. ^_^ WOOT!!!

Aww...I hope your project went ok! :(
