Why did I have to come back down south while the UK is going through a heatwave? *Boils* Anyway, yeah, it's been about 38°C (about 102°F) today. I know it was 35° in the shade at 3pm, so I can't imagine what it was like in the sun at midday. Tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter! ARGH!
And no, we don't have air conditioning. Neither here (my parents' house) nor at my house. Though at mine we do have a nice powerful fan which is better than the hot sticky solidness happening here. *Sweats, boils, faints*
Aaaand I have the misfortune to have developed hayfever. I've never really had it before but this year I seem to have become allergic to pollen out of the blue. Blah.

You want to take some allergy tablets and stand in front of an open fridge.

Totally the same here - you constantly feel like you're gonna melt away anytime soon. And we too don't have air conditioning in Germany. AND, it's also supposed to be a lot hotter tomorrow here... :/

Done the allergy tablets - they've been ok but I try not to take them if I don't have to... I'm hoping the hayfever isn't going to get any worse than the mild cold symptoms I'm getting now.

Ugh, I hate hayfever. I get it every year around August or September... =( I drink lots of hot drinks when I have it, but in 35+ degree weather, that's not so good...
Oddly enough, I didn't know the UK got over 35 degrees very often—I was watching the Ashes last year, and the British commentator said it was "a scorcher at 26 degrees centigrade"... And I've told that story far too often now... =/

Jessie - it doesn't! Usual temperature for this time of year is about 20-25 I think
But yes, far too hot. *melts*

Hey Amelie,
I readded the credit line to your script.
Sorry about that :$
I live in The Netherlands and we got the same weather here too, and i must say i really enjoy it.
Swimming at the lake each day, really lovely! No need to go to Spain if the weather stays this way.
I developed hayfever too, just 2 years back and luckely it doesn't get any worse, as long as i take my meds.
Hope you enjoy your weekend ;)

Wow, this is the 6th blog I've been to talking about the heat wave. I know what you mean, it's been getting to about 110 here (no clue what that is in C). It's just nuts, eh? NO AC. Omg how are you ALIVE, man?! Gosh, and hayfever? That's just horrid my friend. Get well and cool down in front of your fan!
