Poor kitty. Hope she recovers soon so the cone can be removed.

You're lucky to have layouts made for you. Can't wait to see those two layouts :D

Aaw bless her. Hope she recovers soon.
I've never seen a cone of shame like that before. I've only ever seen the big white ones.

Hey, just stumbled across your site via the lovely Snark Forums!

Anyway, when my cat was spayed (also called Lucy!) she was exactly the same.. we had to watch her every move, and if anything she was even more hyper then before. I thought she'd be quiet, and want to sleep most the time, but no. They gave us a cone, it was a pure clear one but tiny! She too learnt how to get it off pretty quickly.

Hope she recovers quickly anyway, and the fur where she was shaved grows back quick! That was the one thing I didn't like, as our Lucy practically had a full strip on her tummy shaved.

Aww, poor cat. But "cone of shame" gave me a chuckle.

Hope she recovers quickly :-)

^ It's not actually black, it's clear with a black trim. I was surprised when I saw it too - I was expecting the classic funnel thing :P Seems this one is better suited to smaller cats :)

I have never seen a black... "Elizabethan Collar" ;) for pets before. It matches your cat very well! Atleast it's not one of those ginormous ones that some poor dogs have to wear.

Very nice of your friends to make layouts for you! I have tried and tried to use photoshop and I keep failing. I think I'll end up using PSP forever. 20 years from now.. PSPXXII..and Ill have a copy, haha.

My kitty never bit or licked at her stitches, so she never needed a cone. They didn't even GIVE us one when we brought her home.

Hopefully Lucy will heal quickly and be back at it soon!
