It appears to be 2010. Now then... How is one to pronounce that? Twenty-ten? Two-thousand-and-ten? I have to say I'm leaning more towards the former but the latter sounds nicer.

This year I have 0 resolutions because I never make any, but I do hope to achieve some things in the next 12 months, including losing some sort of weight and becoming fitter - but considering I ate half a large cheesecake yesterday, that will probably not happen. Mmm, cheesecake. :9 I also have a wedding to plan and go through with and a holiday to Florida to go on. :D

So, happy 2010 to one and all, hope it brings you happiness and whatever else you wish for. :)

Sooo, yesterday was SnarkCon '09, where UK members of Snark met up with Amanda, who's currently visiting from Australia. I say SnarkCon... It was a relatively small meeting as Amanda is catching up with various members of the forum on different days. It just so happened that yesterday was my turn, along with Jem, Rachael, Sarah and Ben. :D

I'd met Jem and Rachael before, but not the others. Turns out they were all very sweet and no different offline than they are on :) We spent the day wandering around Telford, Jem and Sarah's home town, and visiting Ironbridge. Although it was freeeeeezing out, it was a pretty good day and although I didn't get as many pictures as I'd have liked (my hands preferred to stay in my pockets instead of fumbling with a camera in the cold :P ), I did get a few and what I didn't get, other people did. We ended the night with a meal in a pub, which was all very well except that Sarah and I ordered steaks which weren't too good :\ Ah well.

So, here's hoping it can be a regular occurrence (well, maybe not for Amanda :P ) and stuff, woo.
