Yup. Had this computer for a year and a bit, and it finally died on me at 3am this morning. Windows did, anyway. So yeah, I have to reinstall EVERYTHING. It wouldn't boot up unless I reformatted the hard drive.
This sucks so much.

Well main lectures have started now and... while I might have had company last year, the lectures seem twice as boring this year. I really wish people wouldn't make these little cliques of hall corridors which are then inpenetrable by other people cos it then makes them out to look really really bitchy and attitude-y. Seen that several times now. "You live in my hall?" "Ummm... no?" "Can't join our group then"
So pointless.
Gotta say, I'm having a lot of trouble finding people who seem nice enough this year. Last year everyone in my hall was a 1st year so we were all in the same boat, doing the same course, yaddayadda... This year I'm living with 3rd years who already have their little groups of friends (see above) and my actual corridor is actually kinda empty. Don't know why. Been grouped for first assignment already (due in 2 weeks. Urgh) and been made group leader. Me of all people.
Add to this the fact that my name is on NOTHING this year and it looks to be a very interesting year. Lonely, outcast, boring: sounds familiar doesn't it (if you know me you'll know what that means. If you don't know me then... meh, guess).
I wonder if it's possible to install Mac OS X over Windows XP... Since using Macs for my course I find them soooo nice... I've always loved the OS X design and I have Mac skins for XP all over my comp... I can't afford a new comp (not that I really want one) so... yeah. Loving the OS X dock. I know you can get a plugin for XP for that... gotta go find it...
I have no idea what this entry says or tries to say. I am way too tired to care.
