I'm going back home to Reading next week to (re)do my driving test. My temporary instructor (while I'm at uni) says she's very pleased with my driving now, but I still have to watch for the whole stopping-too-abruptly-too-close-to-obstructions thing that failed me on my last test. Blah. Also have a week off after that, not sure whether to spend it in Reading (with my parents) or here in Warrington with the boyfriend. We'll see, it depends on the workload I'm given for said "week off" (officially called "Directed Self Study/Reading week"). [By the way, that's reading as in reading a book. My home town is spelt the same way but is pronounced "Redding". Confused? Good. :P ]

And guess what... the accomplishness of my last entry totally does not apply anymore. Washing up has piled up again, there's very little food, and laundry definitely needs doing. Boyfriend's work shirts need cleaning before Monday at least... But the last wash (done yesterday) isn't dry yet. *Mutters* We don't have a dryer, so we hang things in the bathroom (not outside, since it's been raining for the past few days). However I think it's too humid in there. The last wash took 4 days to dry. Grrr.

Wow, I'm blogging about washing. O_O Do I really have nothing better to say? *Thinks* No, doesn't look like it...

Edit: Oh yeah, I finally sorted out my WP CMS issues. Now I shall be making pages using aforementioned blogging tool. Oh yes. (For those of you who didn't know, and for those of you who care: the paging funtion of my WP installation wasn't working too well and I realised it was because I was missing a part in my theme since I'd converted it from WP 1.2. Yayness. I'm still have the comment notification problem though. Bah.

Edit #2: WP, your annoying little habit of trying to correct every bit of HTML I put into my posts is extremely annoying, since 99.9% of the time you get it wrong. Grrr, bah, phoot. (Don't ask.)

( ^ Couldn't think of a subject. Do excuse me.)

Why didn't anyone tell me that all my popup windows were messed up? I tried simplifying my layout coding and then remembered why I hadn't done it in the first place... Because it messes up popups and other pages that don't have the same layout. That said, popups are so 5 years ago. I need to get rid of them but I can't be bothered. I know it's simply a case of changing the link but that's way too much effort :P

My Wordpress comment notifications have turned themselves off again. I had this problem a while ago but I can't remember what I did to fix it... All the options are checked, the address is valid, everything's enabled as it should be - I didn't touch the settings from when it was working. *Mutters* Judging from the Wordpress Forums, it's a known bug that no one seems to know how to fix.

Ok, my computer slowed right down there... Letters were appearing ages after I typed them. No idea why.

Oh yeah, and it's 5am... I should probably go (back) to bed. Maybe my dailies will have come back by then, a lot of them are throwing up MySQL errors. MySQL must be on strike. *Nods* Yes, that's it.

[Witty title goes here]

So. Following Jem's review, I decided to make some minor changes to my siteage.
I'm up to date with 99% of the semanticity (sp?) now, just need to use CSS for margins instead of &nbsp;s. Also need to get rid of all the <p>s and <br />s that are only there for spacing. *Slaps wrist*

I need a new project to work on... following the completion of PHPAskIt, I have nothing to do (coding wise. I have plenty I could be doing offline *sigh*)... I thought of doing a guestbook, but there are millions of those (like there are millions of Q&A scripts? Quite.) so it wouldn't be anything original. I was going to do a hostee management script, but Vixx beat me to it. :P Having said that though, her script is actually a lot better than what I had in mind. Mine was simply going to be an update of the old Luved.org WakHost (site no longer exists), but using MySQL databases instead of flat files.

I think pretty much everything has been done now. You can get scripts for even the tiniest things, so nothing I could do would be original.

Blah. Any suggestions welcome.

Edit: Grrr. My comments are messed up. Whenever a new line is posted, it appears as rnrn. Not looking forward to searching through all of WP's function includes to find the problem. >.< Fixed it :P Just uploaded the original WP files again.
