...when I'm not sure what I'm doing.

I managed to delete my last post. :\ I thought I was being clever thinking a popup would come up and ask me if I really wanted to delete it, but it didn't and I lost it. All it said was that I'm back from France and that although we came back just after the London bombings on Thursday, we got back ok.

Aaaanyway. I got my exam results this morning - I passed everything! YAY! So at last I can continue on into the second year of my course. For those who don't know, I redid my first year after scraping through most modules and failing one of the core ones. Wasn't quite the same course but yeah, still glad I've got through. I got 78% on one of my media essays. O.O Not quite sure how that happened, considering my average mark is 55-60, and last year I had an average of 40 (with my highest mark being 67)... I got 75% in a module I did do last year but it was an exam (I got 48% ?.? ) not an essay.

Wheee so that confirms that me and the boyfriend have the flat for next year, and I can go on holiday* on Friday feeling happy! :D

*Second holiday? No, tis the first. I did go to France last week, but I don't count that as a holiday as it was only to visit my grandparents. Next week is proper hol. ;)

Hmm. Just now realised my RSS feed doesn't work. I think it's because I'm using relative paths in my WP installation... I did that because it was causing all sorts of errors with the cookies and skinning code stuff. Looks like I might have to change it back. Not sure how many function includes I'll have to go through to fix that, but eh.

My neighbours are being noisy again. :\ Playing some drinking game. One particular person has a very distinctive laugh which is really getting on my nerves right now... *headache smiley* <— neeeeed to get those done. Might just get the Mazeguy ones like everyone else a lot of people have. There are so many good ones there.

...Not to be nasty or anything, but this person shrieks when they laugh. *Shudders*

Righty then. Must sort out some dinner... wonder if my fridge is co-operating... I came back to it this morning sounding like someone was drilling through the wall. I kid thee not.

Server downtime seems to be resolved for the moment. Was due to Netrillium being bombarded with DDoS attacks or something. I'm not with Netrillium, but the server I'm on is leased from them and accounts sold by somebody else. Kinda like a reseller, but the whole server is being used to host accounts on. Myarp.

Finally got round to fixing stupid skinning/cookie problems. Still having problems with Opera, but I think that's to do with my settings.
Anyway, you should now find you can visit the site with or without the www and the skin you chose will still show up.

Wordpress annoyances, part 3525237: grrr. I changed one thing, so it would stop putting wwws back in my url, and it goes all crazy on me. It is way too complicated for its own good, in my opinion. Sure, leave the features as they are but don't include them in 50 function files. Just put them in the main file. Example: I wanted to change my comments link, so I go to edit my template. But oh no, the comment link is made up of some function which I have to trawl all the functions folder to find. >:( Bah.

Right. Must read a text for a lecture, help the boyfriend with his site, and let the cleaner in. Then go to 3 and a half hour lecture. Great day looms.
